A well-established Medium sized UK Main Contractor based in South Mimms are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Coordinator to join their Pre-Construction team. My client has a variety of exciting projects that the successful applicant will be working on. The types of projects my clients work on are predominantly New Build Residential schemes.
My client is ideally looking for someone who is Degree qualified with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience in the construction and property sector, with a preferable background working on residential led mixed use projects. Asta power project experience is also ideal for this role.
Some key duties will include: working closely with the Bid Manager, Design Managers, Technical Manages and Senior Design Coordinators, procure all information for the construction works during the Pre-Construction phase, support the Land, Development, Technical and Finance teams, support the Construction and Commercial teams with recommendations for sub- contractors to be employed, promote and organise site visits to view projects under construction, assist in developing project specific due diligence to lead, manage and produce the project risk register from conception at Bid stage to handover to the Construction delivery team, assist with the creation of project execution plans, and handover to the Construction delivery team at the appropriate time, research, promote and suggest where appropriate the use of off-site methods, work collaboratively to support and advise the Bid Manager and the Programmers at all stages of the project, prepare all relevant material and create the Pre Construction file for handover to the Construction team.
