A Site Administrator / Document Controller is required for a well established main contractor with good IT skills, Document Control process knowledge and experience in the construction field. They are looking for a Site Administrator / Document Controller to join them on a high end bespoke residential site in West London.
The Candidate.
- Assist the Site Manager with site admin.
- Produce a plant register and update this on a weekly basis
- Assist the Site Manager with carrying out weekly site fire precaution checks and record the result of same in site filing
- Maintain a register of all personnel attending site on a daily basis and issue the site security office with a list naming the personnel who we have given authority to visit site the next day
- Collate and file all Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) received from subcontractors and our safety consultants, in the case of subcontractors RAMS, issue the initial copy to consultants for comment and pass on these comments to the subcontractors for revision
- Issue drawings sent in from the design team
- Keep, update and issue a drawing schedule / register on weekly basis
- Type and issue CVI'S & RFI'S and maintain a schedule reflecting the numbers issued and current status of response to same, update this on a weekly basis
- Produce daily work allocation sheets on a daily basis for the operatives carrying works on site, file these and issue to the site supervisor weekly
- Maintain stationary levels on site
- Rack and maintain the site drawings
- Maintain registers as required in our health and safety policy
- Assist the site manager with site inductions
- Assist the site management in taking and recording notes on sub contractor meetings
- Order materials when requested
- Keep records of all materials delivery tickets and forward copies to head office on a weekly basis
- Prepare and maintain records of PPE issued to size operatives
