Job Title: Corrosion Engineer

Purpose:

• To achieve production target under company's guidance on safety and quality through assisting Pipe and Valve Section Chief to maintain integrity reliability and availability to minimize equipment breakdown time and production loss.

Job Description:

HSE Management

• Be responsible to coordinate necessary sources to make sure corrosion related maintenance activities are conducted safely, and all maintenance activities conducted by instrument team are fully flow HSE procedures.
• Be responsible to arrange JSA meeting and make sure maintenance activities fully follow JSA requirements.
• Be responsible to conduct on-site inspection; identify the potential HSE issues on corrosion maintenance activities.

Work Plan, Budget and Cost Management

• Be responsible to supply necessary inputs to line supervisor to make annual budget and work plan related to in production integrity of Missan Oil Field.
• Assist line supervisor on cost control.

Facility and Work Order Management

• Create and manage corrosion control system.
• To collect and management technical documents for Missan Oil Field in corrosion maintenance control system, such as corrosion monitoring, corrosion control etc.
• Assist line supervisor to develop PM job plan for Missan Oil Field integrity.
• Be responsible to lead CP team to conduct PM and CM work orders in safely and timely manner.
• Be responsible to fill implementation records into work order in Maximo.

Stock Management

• Assist line supervisor to identify and prepare spare parts list for all corrosion materials, corrosion tools and consumable.
• Assist line supervisor to maintain Integrity spare parts inventories at a reasonable level.

People Management

• Be responsible to supply line supervisor necessary input information of CP technicians on performance evaluation.
• Assist line supervisor to identify the learning needs and organize the relevant training.
• Be responsible for other tasks assigned by section manager.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree in Industry Corrosion or relevant subject.
• 5 years of working experience in oil or gas production area.
• 3 years of working experience as corrosion engineer.
• Be familiar with corrosion monitoring and control knowledge.
• Be familiar with corrosion materials.
• Be familiar with SAP or Maximo.
• Be skilled in English listening, speaking and writing.
• Capability of working in multi-culture environment, especially in middle east environment.
• Know general procedures used in oil and gas production area, i.e. PTW, JSA etc.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Above bachelor degree in Industry Corrosion or relevant subject.
• Have the experience of corrosion control, especially for CP.
• Be good at change management to adjust the plan and solution whenever needed to ensure a timely deliverables.
• Stress management capability to deal with the unexpected challenges or issues in a positive way.
