This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a strong presence in the civil design industry to join a well established and growing consultancy in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. You will be reporting to the company CEO and be responsible for a large portfolio of works and in the process will manage a team of eight talented engineers and drafters.
The main focus in terms of your projects will be residential subdivisions(earthworks, drainage, road and sewer designs.) Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that resource allocation to projects is adequately managed. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and be a bold representative for the company at client meetings and industry events. The team will fall under your direct performance management and this will include setting KPIs and goals to foster their ongoing growth and career development. The successful candidate shall have considerable experience in preparing technical engineering reports and letters for presentation to clients.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate a minimum of ten years civil engineering experience ideally on land development projects in Australia. Degree qualification in Civil Engineering is mandatory as well as outstanding communication skills.
