Highways QA/QC Manager- Algeria
We are seeking an experienced Highways QA/QC Manager for a construction supervision project in Algeria.
Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a project in a challenging yet highly rewarding location to play a key role in its successful delivery. You shall be working as part of an International Team providing the key expertise for all Highways elements relating to the project.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and ensure the coordination of the external control activities.
- Ensure the quality of the executed work and that all activities are carried out in a timely manner and according to client needs.
- Supervise, develop and implement corrective actions, if necessary.
- Supervise the onsite team members.
- Ensure a professional liaison between the client, the contractor and the various stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate periodical activity reports.
- Support the administrative and human resources aspects of the external control activities.
- Approve and revise work procedures in accordance with the quality assurance program.
- Support a multidisciplinary team of specialists and those dedicated to the verification and maintenance of project documentation, as needed.
Key requirements for the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 20+ years of experience in the road construction field, at least 8 years in Quality control for major highways, roads or infrastructure construction work
- Excellent knowledge of the French language and working knowledge of English.
- Strong knowledge of design, surveillance, qualitative control of materials, geotechnics, as well as project management and administration.
Salary Package:
The salary package is $10000 $12000USD per month
