The Role: Lifting Specialist

Type: Contract (Short-term)

Location: 1 week in Marseille – Then out to Eastern Europe ( location TBC)

Training objectives:

• Rigging and lifting (for all riggers, present and those who will be mobilized later)
• Lashing and equipment preparation for offshore and land transport (riggers team and materiel team)
• Job safety analysis principles
• Manual Handling

The training would be performed on location :

• 1 week in Marseille for preparation
• Training of the crew on February 25^th – 27 ^th
• Supervision during a Vessel Offloading operation from 28^th  to March 1^st 2^nd
• Supervision on the Yard March 3^rd – 5 ^th

Clarification :

• Location is an onshore Logistics base in Eastern Europe
• “Vessel Offloading operation” consists of “discharging OCTG from cargo vessel to the harbor / base”
• No offshore operations planned – No BOSIET needed
• Week in Marseille is for training preparation, context clarification, familiarization with Bourbon’s strategy and clients requirements (week in Marseille is next week !!)

NB: Depending on the outcome of this mission, this service could be required and performed repeatedly for upcoming tender & contracts (from reconnaissance to country deployment).
