Planning & Control Engineer / England

Our client is an international oil company, developing a multi-year, multi-billion US$, mega-project in Sub Sahara Africa. We are hiring a Planning & Control Engineer on long-term contract (initially at least 1 year), to be based in Bristol, c£500/day LTD, reporting to the Lead Planning & Control.

You will take responsibility for planning, scheduling, Project Controls, covering Project Services Activities, scope of work definition, monitoring, reporting, forecasting, technical project documents for both surface and subsurface facilities, represent Project Services to Contractors and Partners, using planning tools such as Construction Work Package (CWP), Cost Time Resource Sheets (CTR), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). This is a Primavera, MS Project, Excel environment.

FEED, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start up activities will be carried out by specialized consultants, contractors and fabrication yards worldwide, so you should have high-mobility and multi-cultural experience in large scale development projects for an Operator.

For this we are looking for a degree qualified, Planner / Project Controls Engineer, with 10+ yrs experience on offshore gas development, subsea and onshore pipelines, LNG plans, Floating Production Units, covering early phases (FEL, conceptual, FEED) and Execution.
