Senior Materials Engineer (Mechanical) / UAE

We are specialist Oil and Gas recruitment agency has an urgent requirement for a Senior Materials Engineer (Mechanical), on a permanent basis, to work in Abu Dhabi for a large EPC company.

Brief description is as follows:

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:-

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy

• Minimum (8) years in engineering field preferably including (5) years in Oil & Gas Contracting

• Should have worked as lead or sub lead for at least three projects

• Understanding of protective coating systems, including selection and review of application procedures

• Experience on developing Cathodic Protection (CP) scope of work, evaluate CP vendors offer, review their documentation, and address site issues. Should also be able to work out MTO in support of proposal activities

• Capable of formulating schedules

• Preferably holding NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 1 and NACE Certified Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP2)

• Should follow HSE & Quality policies

• Good presentation and communication skills
