The job holder is accountable for the following activities during NWHP01 Topsides and Bridges EPCI2Project execution:

  • To implement the Company Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
  • To insure that Painting, Coating and Insulation requirements are well established and implemented by the Contractor during detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and transportation works, with a particular emphasis to the follow-up of Sub- CTR workshops
  • Ensure that the assigned projects tasks are well managed as per Company specifications and contractual requirements,
  • Ensure that all the interfaces with the design team are correctly managed,
  • Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the organization's safety regulations, with quality conformance and within schedule
  • Ensure efficient communication with all other Company engineering and functional team members and in particular the QA/QC Superintendent

ACTIVITIES:

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other Company HSE procedures in all activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • To review Fabrication and PQT Documentation issued by the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors, with the support of the Major Projects Corrosion Engineer.
  • Review all procedures from CTR / Sub-CTR related to blasting, coating, PFP application, insulation.
  • Monitor coating and blasting materials management by Contractor including test report (MTRs).
  • Review and approved the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor.
  • Witness coating procedures qualification and applicators ability qualifications.
  • Review all or part of tests in addition to the third party.
  • Monitoring of galvanizing and insulation subcontractor and Contractor inspectors qualification and performance.
  • Identification and follow-up of any Non Conformance (NCRs).
  • Troubleshoot technical problems that may affect the construction and liaise with the Major Projects Corrosion Engineer for the resolution.
  • Identify the critical activities and bottleneck for the progress related to coating. Anticipate; propose solutions to improve applicator's productivity and quality performance.
  • Review manufacturing records books
  • Evaluate and upgrade, according audit, the quality and safety level at Contractor/Subcontractor facilities.
  • Ensure that operator qualifications are performed at the required level.
  • Participate to PQT, PPT for coating, painting and insulation systems, at Contractor/Subcontractor.
  • Ensure during procurement, fabrication and construction phases, that all QC activities are done properly and that the ITP are fully implemented with the necessary's requirements.
  • Ensure compliance of Contractors deliverables and documents with Company HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes and standards and best engineering practices, and with Project specifications of these disciplines
  • Be the site Contractor contact point for all matters related to its discipline and subjects he/she is in charge of.
  • Timely and actively liaise with other specialists of the construction team in order to ensure consistency of the works (planning, coordination, etc….).
  • Liaise with Project QC lead for all matters related to QC activities and to the construction manager for all technical matters.
  • Report directly to the QC lead and Construction manager, he/she monitors and records the CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTORS progress related to his/her discipline activities and report any expected slippage on schedule.
  • Remain accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules and requirements and for ensuring their implementation within his/her scope of responsibility.
  • Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report.
  • Ensure detailed progress reporting to construction management,
  • Carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors in line with discipline expertise,
  • Treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities of Company.
  • Possibility of multiple worldwide missions and/or relocations to follow-up offshore installation campaign.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualification:
    • Qualification: NACE level 2 with Peer Review or FROSIO level 3 qualified
    • Education to HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.
  • Professional Experience (number of years) : 10
  • Experience within project : (number of years) : 10
  • A good knowledge of NOC Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in coating, material, corrosion and NDE.
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
  • Familiar with PRODOM.
