Chief Geologist
Urgent vacancy for a Chief Geologist working in the Middle East
Overview
• A site-based Chief Geologist vacancy working on a 1-year renewable contract for one of the World's Largest Gold Operators in the Middle East.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in the field of Exploration and Mining Geology
• Experience in feasibility studies, Resource evaluation, development of mining projects and auditing.
• Knowledge in Geostatistical methods in Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and solid JORC reporting codes
• Competent in the management of Mineral exploration database systems, analysis of geological data, QA/QC data and evaluation of QAQC results
• An understanding of economic evaluation techniques applicable to advanced exploration targets.
• Knowledge and usage of exploration and mining software packages (ArcGIS/MapInfo, Surpac, Datamine or Leap Frog)
• A member in good standing of a recognized professional organization (AusIMM, CIM, SAIMM) allowing for sign-off on code compliant technical
