Are you looking for a new opportunity for two Electrical Engineers within hardware?

My client based in based in Sweden is looking to recruit two Electrical Engineers with current working knowledge of Hardware for a 10 month contract.

The client develops electronics products in machine safety and functional safety, ranging from emergency stop to PLCs. The products consist of embedded SW, HW and housing mechanics.

The suitable candidates would be required to specifically implement hardware (HW) electronics, ie.

1. Design and dimension circuit solutions
2. Simulate circuit solutions in eg LT spice
3. Count on circuit solutions
4. Perform analyses such as FMEA and Parts Stress
5. Master the ELCAD for schedule and layout
6. Creates production basis (Schedule, layout, PCB specification, BOM, Production test specification etc)
7. Can solder for prototype needs
8. Can create a verification specification to verify that the requirements are met by the implementation
9. Can use standard measuring instruments for verification (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generator, thermal camera, EMC test equipment, climate chamber, etc.).

The assignment involves a mix of new designs, product updates, investigating quality issues and general product maintenance such as approving alternative components, since those who are replaced are obsolete or otherwise cannot be obtained.

Rate would be negotiable based upon experience and the assignment is looking to start Mid February.

To be considered for this assignment you would need to have current working knowledge in HW electronics.
