Senior Dam Design Engineer - Johannesburg

My client is seeking Dam Design Engineer to be based in Johannesburg, South Africa. You required to provide a lead in design and constructability of dam related engineering projects and manage staff to achieve project deliverables of high quality and on time.

The position is for an office based person who will design/run projects in South Africa and other African countries. It is a long term rather than a project position so my client would want someone who is willing to relocate to South Africa long term and assist in building the business.

The person would have to fit in with the South African (SA) remuneration norms with total package ranging from R 600 000 to R 1000 000 (60,000 USD - 110,000 USD) depending on his qualifications and experience. The salary would be paid in Rand in South Africa and would be subject to SA tax.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably MSc level
• Dam design and project management experience (>10years)
• Business Degree an advantage
• Professional Registration
• Fluent in English

Location : Johannesburg

Salary : $60,000+ per anum
