Senior Completion Engineer / Norway

Work Location: Oslo

Startup: As soon as possible, but no later than 1.4.2019

Duration: 01.4.2020 (possible extension of contract)

Description

• Prepare Completion Program, give input to Drilling Program and provide input needed for Authority Applications

• Identify and evaluate cases and concepts for future wells

• Prepare time estimates for Completion activities

• Detail engineer wells based on selected concept

• Participate/Conduct Risk activities, analyses, CWOP

• Ensure proper preparations for operations

• Supervise Completion and Work-over operations (from offshore when required) to ensure they are conducted in a safe manner according to LNAS requirements, rules and regulations and that objectives are met.

• Prepare input to Well Handover documentation and final well reports

• Identify and document lessons learned

• Identify Completion Long Lead Items

• Conduct quality assurance and control activities towards suppliers

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 10 years completion related experience from completion operations

• Good knowledge in well control matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or similar education (experience may compensate for lack of formal education)

• Valid NCS offshore safety course certificate

• Competency in Authority Regulations. Should have RVK course or similar experience (regelverk kompetanse kurs)

• Proficiency in completion engineering simulation software (Landmark suite)

• Proficiency in torque and drag simulations

• Proficiency in completion string component database software (CSD, Wellview or similar).

• Proficiency in time and cost estimation

• IWCF well control certificate (current, or outdated but completed with pass)
