Warehouse Manager / England

Warehouse Manager – Staffordshire – Negotiable salary plus benefits – Automotive 1st tier supplier.

A very impressive, busy 1st tier supplier requires an experience Warehouse Manager to support the Supply & Logistics division in inventory  management , people management and stock accuracy. With multiple launches scheduled in the next 12 - 18 months this is a busy and important time.

To be right for this you will need to have the right attitude as well as the right skills.  You will have experience in leadership, projects, continuous improvement and SAP.  You will have knowledge of and liaise with Quality, production, maintenance and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead a team of warehouse supervisors
• Undertake improvement activities in support of companies continuous improvement framework
• Take control of the logistics process alongside the material planners and master scheduler
• Manage costs related to production line delivery and customer shipment
• Manage and produce reports and documentation

Essential

• Experience of a similar role
• Experience in the automotive industry
• SAP Experience
• A good level of education

Desirable

• Degree qualified professional
• Automotive first tier supplier experience
• Costing, P&L, finance responsibility
