Description

• Preparation and issue of physical and derivative sales and purchase contracts and confirmations related to sales, trading and supply, both short-term and long-term

• Preparation and issue of special downstream, shipping, field, storage, and terminal contracts and related service agreements to support the complete sales, trading and supply service requirements globally

• Evaluation of conditions of sales to/from customers and Incoterms

• Providing advice to trading, operations, and risk departments in contract matters

• Coordination with Statoil's legal department on special issues whenever needed or appropriate

• Coordination with MT offices in Stavanger, London, Stamford (USA), Brussels, and Singapore in contractual matters

• Coordination with the MT OPI CC Claims team

Requirements

• Experience from contracts, commodity trading, and/or shipping

• Preferably at least three years’ experience in contract formulation and/or contract administration from oil/gas/power marketing or shipping

• Ability to deal effectively with counterparties, managing complex enquiries

• Fluent written and oral presentation skills in English

• Ability to provide contractual support and advise to traders, operators and Legal personnel in a dynamic environment

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Structured and result oriented

• Ability to handle complex contractual issues

• Language requirements English
