TUNNEL PROJECT MANAGER - NORWAY

We are seeking a Project Manager to join a leading European main contractor for a Hydro power project in Norway. We are seeking a project manager with background in tunnelling and hydro power projects. The project manager will ideally be Norwegian speaking or Swedish/Danish speaking with a good understanding of the Norwegian language.

Job Role / Responsibilities

Project management and on site leadership

Have a good relationship with partners, clients and sub contractors

In charge of development of staff

Supervision of cost controlling, billing and budgets

Strong communication skills

Salary Package

The salary range between 1.1- 1.4 million KR a year, included accommodation and travel expenses.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of

• Previous management experience
• Engineer degree or relevant experience
• Norwegian or Scandinavian speaking
• Drill and blast knowledge
• Work well in a team and on your own
• Hydro power knowledge or dam

Candidates with the following titles can also apply to this role : Tunnel Manager, Tunnel project director and anyone with tunnel / hydro power plant experience working in project management.
