Description
General:
• Develop different KPIs for monitoring Contractors performance.
• Give support to project team on all planning/reporting related issues.
• Be the focal piont during Baseline updates of EPCI/EPC contracts.
• Be involved in the MOC process and support cost and planning issues during evaluation of related changes.
• Coordinate the lessons learned prosess and support Project close out reporting.
Planning:
• Develop and update Operators Integrated planning levels for EPC/EPCI contracts and provide planning expertice during define and execution phases.
• Establish and maintain Operators Integrated network for the EPCI project by using information from internal planning strategies and relevant contractor input..
• Prepare regular and timely progress reports into Operators Integrated Schedules by rolling up progress information from contractors’ and other relevant status reporting.
• Maintain timely awareness on project performance against schedule and Milestones and analyze treths and potential Changes; recommend corrective actions as required.
• Monitor Contractors progress & performance and proactively follow up Critical items to ensure that Project Management is aware of any emerging issues that could jeopardize the project schedule.
• Support other planning and reporting activities in the Project as required.
• Import and analyse Contractors logic network and make sure propper integration between all contractors and Operators schedules.
• Review contractor schedules and manpower plans. Provide guidance as required to ensure consistency and quality in the planning process.
• Record and analyse all contractors defined KPIs (Float, Trend, Progress, Baseline Deviations etc.).
• Monitor and review contractors’ performance throughout the contract life-cycle and recommend corrective action where necessary.
• Maintain timely awareness on project performance against schedule; analyze Potential Changes; recommend corrective actions.
• Support the Invoice verification prosess on a monthly basis.
Support to Cost Control:
• Support Finance processes and cost control expertise during execution phase.
• Contribute to monthly cost status reporting and forecasting
• Maintain awareness on project cost and planning performance against budget.
• Contribute to the review of contractors’ cost performance reports with specific focus on planning interfaces and recommend corrective action where necessary.
Requirements
• Min 10 years relevant work experience
• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant engineering subject. Lower degree education can be compensated with relevant experience.
• Good knowledge and experience in use of ‘Safran Project’ planning tool.
• Experience with Norwegian field development projects.
• Have detailed understanding of subsea tie-back developments.
• Experienced in risk management activities in offshore field development projects
Personal qualities:
• Must be a flexible and adaptable team-player and be able to support diciplines with different backgrounds.
• Profficient PC Skills of use of multiple IT systems like Safran, PrimaVera, Share Point, PIMS MS Office and Xait Porter
• Ability to work independently as well as in cooperation with others
• Good communication skills both written (English contractual) and verbal (confident to communicate at all levels).
