Conditioning Monitoring Technician - 8:6 FIFO – Contract
Contract – 6 month initial contract
Rate – NEG + Super
Location – WA
Are you a talented Conditioning Monitoring Technician who is keen to work with a leading mining provider which work with the latest plant/technology in their space?
Our client is one of the market leaders within the open cut mining space who have a reputation of excellent staff retention, supplying the best tools/machinery for the job and have a number of projects within the WA area.
Due to success on one of their long term iron ore projects they have on at present, they are looking to strengthen their workforce with an experienced Conditioning Monitoring Technician. To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience of:
-Collecting and analysing Vibration, oil analysis, thermography and ultrasonic testing data.
-Be able to scope and install remote accelerometer on to rotating equipment.
-Update RBM view and rotating equipment Asset Health Watchlist.
-Create and edit equipment in existing MHM databases.
- Provide recommendations and create notifications to address issues identified through routine analysis.
-Come from a strong condition monitoring technician role, ideally in a fixed plant mining environment.
-Minimum certificate 2 in vibration.
-Minimum Certificate 1 in oil analysis.
-Minimum Certificate 1 in ultrasonic testing.
- Experience using MHM suite, and CSI 2140 analyser.
-Experience with creating and modifying databases in MHM.
-Able to use SAP and ability to follow the work management process is essential.
-Previous experience with belt thickness testing will be highly regarded.
-Experienced with Microsoft programs.
