An oil and gas major currently require a PSCM Category Specialist – Projects for a major capital oil and gas project, to be based in Sunbury on a 12 month renewable contract.
The role of PSCM Category Specialist – Projects supports all sourcing activities, from the development of Strategy & Bid Lists, and subsequent RFP preparation, including the development of Evaluation Criteria, and the negotiation and placement of Contracts; Post Contract Management and Supplier Management activities shall be executed through established processes; A strong working relationship with the Projects Technical teams based in Iraq, supporting Contract implementation; Comply with the Procurement Principles which align with the Technical Services Contract and supports local content and cost recovery.
You will have a University degree with MCIPS or other equivalent professional PSCM qualification. You will have a strong understanding and experience of Projects based Contracts; Track record of successful PSCM delivery in complex, challenging international environments and Joint Ventures working with NOC’s; Analytical abilities including marketplace and financial analysis; Strong Ms Word, Excel skills; Strong ARIBA and MAXIMO skills; and Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal clients.
Arabic or Chinese language skills will be highly advantageous.
