Chemical Service Representative - Local / Canada

We are a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world- wide client base within the oil & gas Industry. Our client, a large Oilfield service provider, is seeking a Chemical Service Representative in Swift Current, SK. This will be a 3 month contract  role starting ASAP with strong possibility of extension or conversion to staff.

The shift will be 5 days on/ 2 days off (Mon-Fri) 8 hours per day, regular day hours

The individuals MUST be local to the Swift Current area as no LOA or camp is available.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safe delivery of product to customer locations surrounding Swift Current, SK (100 mile radius)
• Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external customers
• Responsible for inventory management and control
• Assisting account managers with day to day operations
•  Maintenance of storage yard and shop
•  Reaching quarterly and annual inventory targets
•  Product quality control
• Processing appropriate paperwork in a timely manner
• Sampling wellheads and Vessels in a safely manner
• Chemical Pump repair

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

•  Clean Driver’s Abstract
•  Good knowledge of Swift Current and surrounding area
•  High school diploma
•  1-2 years of experience in the oil field
•  Strong communication
•  Ability to build a strong rapport with clients
• Self-motivated
• Strong organizational skills
•  Ability to work with minimal supervision
•  Basic computer skills

Desired Characteristics:

•   2-5 years of experience in the field
