Railway Project Director - (Expat) / India

We are seeking a Project Director to join a leading European engineering & transportation consultancy in India for a freight rail project.

Job Role / Responsibilities

Acting as the Project Director you will be directly responsible for overall co- ordination with Detail Design Consultant, Construction Contractors, D&B Contractors, and other senior project stakeholders. You will take decisions and give directions to facilitate completion of project without time and cost over runs without sacrificing quality and safety. You will be responsible for administrative as well as technical control of construction project supervision teams. You will be responsible for proper implementation of provisions in the Terms of Reference and relevant manuals, rules and regulations as per contract and execution of work by contractor in accordance with specifications and time lines laid down in the contracts.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar Engineering degree. My client is looking for a minimum 20 years, 15 years experience in Railway/Transportation/Infrastructure projects and 5 recent years acting as a Project Director with 10 years overseas project experience.

Salary Package

US$14,000 - US$15,000 tax free per month + accommodation + flights + International medical insurance + In country transport
