Chief Financial Officer / Bahrain

As a result of continued expansion, our Client, one of the leading construction companies operating throughout the country is now seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer.
 
This important position requires strong ambition and unswerving determination to further develop an established operation into a highly successful and profitable business where the future success of the venture will be directly attributable to your efforts.
 
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not be limited to the following:
 

• VAT directive implementation of procedures
• Treasury work including bank and quarterly reports
• Company secretarial work (with the help of an external consultant)
• Monthly board reporting (management/cash flow/turnover)
• Monthly payroll (employees)
• Overseeing a busy payroll department (operatives)
• Monthly cost reports
• Budget preparation and eventual variance reports
• Liaising with the local partner on turnover and profitability
• Cash Management

 
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified with demonstrable experience working for construction companies. Previous experience working in the Middle East is required.
