Study Manager JD - Abu Dhabi
Purpose of the role
- Responsibility for the overall quality of the deliverable and the technical certainty
- Ensure the technical scope of the study is being executed in line with the company's philosophy and the relevant business processes.
- Ensure the study is being executed in line with agreed commercial and schedule expectations.
- Maintain a good client relationship, ensuring they are informed of study technical, commercial and schedule progress.
- Should any technical, commercial or schedule issues arise, ensure both company management and the client are informed at the earliest possible opportunity
- Ensure the study is suitably resourced from all required technical functions and support services through discussion with the relevant managers.
- Ensure that any lessons learnt from the study are recorded in accordance with the company's lessons learnt and continual improvement process.
Key Accountabilities
- Single point technical and commercial responsibility for the study, accountable to the Study Sponsor.
- Responsible for ensuring alignment with Client's expectations, ensuring scope is achieved and highlighting areas for further value and improvement.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements for the study are fulfilled.
- Commercial responsibility for the study to ensure the correct contractual arrangements are in place at kick off and the detailed requirements of the contract are fulfilled.
- Responsibility to ensure any commercial or payment difficulties are resolved at the earliest opportunity and at any stage from project kick-off to payment received. This is to be achieved through discussions with the Client Technical and/or Commercial Representative.
- Responsible for ensuring all work is executed in accordance with io management processes

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
- Extensive experience (over 10 years) in Process Engineering, Concept development, and Field Development Planning
