Study Manager JD - Abu Dhabi

Purpose of the role

• Responsibility for the overall quality of the deliverable and the technical certainty
• Ensure the technical scope of the study is being executed in line with the company's philosophy and the relevant business processes.
• Ensure the study is being executed in line with agreed commercial and schedule expectations.
• Maintain a good client relationship, ensuring they are informed of study technical, commercial and schedule progress.
• Should any technical, commercial or schedule issues arise, ensure both company management and the client are informed at the earliest possible opportunity
• Ensure the study is suitably resourced from all required technical functions and support services through discussion with the relevant managers.
• Ensure that any lessons learnt from the study are recorded in accordance with the company's lessons learnt and continual improvement process.

Key Accountabilities

• Single point technical and commercial responsibility for the study, accountable to the Study Sponsor.
• Responsible for ensuring alignment with Client's expectations, ensuring scope is achieved and highlighting areas for further value and improvement.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements for the study are fulfilled.
• Commercial responsibility for the study to ensure the correct contractual arrangements are in place at kick off and the detailed requirements of the contract are fulfilled.
• Responsibility to ensure any commercial or payment difficulties are resolved at the earliest opportunity and at any stage from project kick-off to payment received. This is to be achieved through discussions with the Client Technical and/or Commercial Representative.
• Responsible for ensuring all work is executed in accordance with io management processes

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
• Extensive experience (over 10 years) in Process Engineering, Concept development, and Field Development Planning
