Process Technical Authority / Algeria

We are looking for a Process Technical Authority for northern Africa on a 2 year plus contract starting next March or April.

Candidates must have operator experience.

This is a senior position on a multi-disciplined team. The successful candidate must demonstrate leadership skills in guiding, directing, and instructing less experienced engineers in good engineering practice and judgment, as well as professional business practices and behaviors.

• Experienced with hazard analysis techniques used in the process industry (HAZOP, LOPA).
• Experience with HYSYS process modeling software.
• Knowledge of process design and plant modeling; gas processing, produced water treatment, gas sweetening, compression, dehydration, wells and gathering system, pipeline and export operations.
• Experience with flare and relief system design including sizing and specification of relieving devices.
• Experience with separation and distillation systems including design, operation and troubleshooting
• Experienced in the development of operating procedures and use of check lists for pre-start safety reviews.
• Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge in the fundamentals of process engineering.
