Chief Plant Engineer

Work with a successful Large Gold Mining Operator with assets globally, the company are currently recruiting for a Chief Engineer to oversee and manage the Maintenance of process Plant and electrical department.

For this role, the position reports into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for equipment and plant availability, in charge of the cost-control and developing effective engineering processes and procedures.

The company are well known within the Industry and are striving for success in Africa with their Large Open Pit Mine, this is an instrumental time to get involved with the operation and being part of the plant success.

Must have:
• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic or Equivalent
• Hold an engineer ticket
• Expertise in High and Medium Voltage Power Systems
• Over 8 years' experience in maintenance of process plants
• 5 years at Chief/plant Engineer level

Package:
FIFO or DIDO roster - Salaries negotiable
