Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy mobile and fixed equipment, water tanker and flatbed trucks on public roads, articulated front-end loaders, heavy-duty forklift trucks, Hiab truck mounted cranes and hydraulic cranes. Assist mechanics with repairs and pipefitting mechanical maintenance activities as well as preform first line maintenance on heavy equipment.

Operate heavy vehicles on public roads for transportation of materials

Operate front end loaders and secure special attachments such as booms, buckets, forks, power brushes.

Operate mobile cranes up to 40 ton capacity

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERINCE

Minimum 10 years' experience as Heavy Equipment Operator in Oil and Gas industry

Valid UAE RTA heavy equipment operator driving licence category 3, 4, 7 and 8.

Certified for hydraulic crane operation, able to re-certify and pass crane operator tests.

Competencies/Skills

Strong written and spoken English

Competent as a rigger and banksman for lifting operations, ability to pass assessment testing

Knowledge of general mechanical maintenance

Available on a 24- hour call out basis while on rotation for emergency work related problems.

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Familiar with permit to work systems and other safe systems of work control in the oil and gas industry.
