Description

A sales representative is required to take on this critically important role. The attributes of the Business Development professional include in-depth knowledge of mega project life cycle, and the ability to identify value propositions in order to win new clients and to foster long term business relationships. Preferred background would include experience in the Mining & Energy sectors, with knowledge of clients involved in projects such as LNG, oilfield, pipeline, refinery, construction etc would be advantageous.

ROLE

The sales representative will play a very important role in driving market share and business growth in the Western Canadian marketplace. Goal is to improve our market position and achieve financial growth. The sales representative negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales representative Reporting to the Country Manager, will spearhead the business development activities in the Western Canadian marketplace.
  • The primary role is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential and existing clients.
  • Primary focus on oil and gas, energy and mining mega construction project sector.
  • Develop and build customer relationships
  • Call on clients, make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new and innovative solutions and services to clients.
  • Participate in pricing the solution and/or service.
  • Educate clients on our service offerings, business solutions and tools.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
