An oil and gas major currently require a Contracts Administrator for a major capital project to be based in Farnborough, UK for a long term contract opportunity.
The Contracts Administrator will provide general administrative support to the Contract’s Team, including compiling claims documentation, and maintaining logs and schedules. The administration of Project simple contracts to ensure compliance with the Contract Terms & Conditions, technical requirements, project procedures and Company policies. The Contracts Specialist will be expected to work on their own initiative and judgment on work of the appropriate complexity.
You will also monitor and review correspondence arising from work to detect and assist on Contract issues; maintain all contractual documentation using the project directed electronic and hardcopy filing systems; Research Contracts issues as directed by Contracts Advisor; Enforce Contract and Project Contracts related rules; Assist in obtaining information from all relevant sources, formulate solutions and recommendations, and works to distribute information as required to all pertinent stakeholders.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience within Contracts Administration preferably within the oil and gas industry. Operator experience is highly desirable as well as previous experience in logistics and planning.
