Introduction

We are pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Agile team lead/facilitator or coach

Work Location: Stavanger and Bergen

Startup: ASAP - 01.10.2019

Option period: 1x1 year

Num consultants: 2-3 consultants in Stavanger / 1-2 consultants in Bergen

Description

The facilitator will be responsible for 1-2 teams (depending on size/maturity). Essential duties would be:

• Support and energize powerful collaboration (between team, PO, stakeholders, customers)

• Build and maintain a high-performing team by being a coach, mentor and facilitator for the team

• Promote and build a continuous improvement culture (inspect and adapt)

• Facilitate discussions, decision makings and conflict resolutions at the different levels (within & outside the team)

• Focus on minimum viable products and iterations. Enable continuous deliveries, focusing both on the mindset and on the technical setup for this

• Push for CI/CD pipelines, automation and necessary quality assurance A coach would work across several teams to help the dedicated facilitators achieve the above mentioned. He/she would need to talk to leaders on different levels and help establish an agile mindset also on their level.

Requirements

• Formal education/ certifications on team facilitation, Agile and Lean (methodologies and practices)

• Deep understanding of Agile (Agile fundamentals) – a proper agile mindset

• Knowledge of different Agile & Lean methodologies - e.g. Scrum, XP, Kanban - with a good understanding of motivation behind the practices

• Focus on continuous improvement & learning (as a professional journey as well as a personal journey) - Be passionate and willing to grow in this role (fully committed)

• Solid experience as facilitator/ Scrum Master

• Experience and good understanding of modern software development in a devops setting. Enough to be able to challenge, coach, guide and make sure the team is moving in the right direction both on ways of working and on technical setup

• Preferably have a software developer background
