This is an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a successful firm of construction consultants in their central LONDON office to run your own projects.
You will have the opportunity of working on very high value new build residential and mixed use projects valued from around £50m to £250m.
Ideally you will be MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, ICE or similarly qualified. You may also be MAPM.
You will provide leadership to project teams.
The client is a large firm of construction consultants with offices in the U.K. and abroad.
They work on project management, cost management, engineering across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, retail, hospitality, education, local authority, infrastructure and more.
My client is now seeking a Senior Project Manager to work based from their central London office with visits for meetings, to site, consultants offices as required in the U.K.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering or similar and ideally you will be MRICS, MCIOB, ICE, RIBA or similarly qualified or working towards becoming chartered.
You should have gained around five years or more experience in Project Management in the construction industry and you will have worked for another firm of consultants, end user client or developer.
You will need to have good pre-contract experience managing design teams and procurement thorough RIBA Stages 1-4.
You should have good experience in administering contracts under JCT D&B Major Works or Construction Management procurement.
Previous experience of running high value projects is preferred and experience of residential and mixed use schemes is essential.
You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.
Salary is highly negotiable according to experience plus good benefits package.
