We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to join a Wind Farm Operations Team
The role will involve:
Client and stakeholder liaison; act as main point of contact, attending operations meetings, respond to queries and requests for information.
Management of project works; in particular inspection services and major components exchange works, liaison with stakeholders, managing subcontractor works, sourcing components and tooling
Resource management; estimating, prioritising work load, scheduling.
Prepare performance reports; liaison with control room, technicians, interpretation of SCADA data
Monitoring project financial performance vs budget, preparing internal costs reports, identify risk areas.
Responsible for ensuring effectiveness of software applications including work control and stock inventory management, system improvement
About the Wind Operations and Maintenance Team:
The Team covers a 150MW portfolio of wind farms across the UK. Capability has grown steadily over recent years and they have substantial hands-on experience of operating and maintaining turbines of varying type and age from multi-megawatt full converter turbines to a variety of older types. The wind O&M business operates as a truly multidiscipline contractor, providing design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services.
Services provided by our Wind O&M team includes; scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance, fault finding, spares management and procurement, major repairs including gearbox, generator, yaw gear and blade replacement, turbine erection and dismantling and asset condition inspections. Our site management services typically include regular site inspections, site inductions, HV network management and switching, emergency response, management of balance of plant maintenance, SCADA monitoring and reporting, site work control including operation control under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
