Ensure safety and timely completion of projects within budget.
Ensure company rules, specifications and procedures are followed in the execution of projects.
Ensure no damage to any company or other operators assets and environment in the course of executing projects.
Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications and safety procedures. Ensure effective design studies for infrastructures produced by Contractors.
Lead the ICSS activities for the brownfield projects & Request for modification works.
Define the scope of work for the ICSS contractors and supervising the progress, budget and execution. Carry out preliminary and basic facilities Engineering studies / in-house design.
Management of ICSS vendors / Contractors.
Responsible for any third party integration with ICSS as part of projects.
Verification and validation of engineering Contractor / system vendors deliverables. Efficient Stakeholders management (i.e. FOPS & Major Projects team).
Focused obsolescence management.
Involve in functional safety assessment of the facilities and upgrade as and when required.
Leading a role to standardize and optimize the ICSS solutions being provided by contractors.
Ensure and promote the application of company HSE and Safety Engineering rules and specifications.
Ensure that contractors comply at all times with safety rules, taking actions as required in case of disregards.
Promote safety culture within company personnel and Contractors as well as reporting of anomalies.
Planning and managing the contracts & procurement activities related to ICSS.
Responsible for the continuous monitoring and improvement on Cyber security in compliance with Company standards and international standards.
Report (and consult) to Electrical and Control & Instrumentation Lead on regular basis with weekly report as well as when decisions impacting Engineering & Construction activities must be taken.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
Recognized expertise in the field of Instrumentation and ICSS engineering of oil & gas facilities having minimum 12 years of experience. Typically 5-10 years of professional experience in Instrumentation and ICSS engineering for offshore upstream oil and gas industry.
Ability to work within a team environment and under pressure with minimal supervision with a proactive mind-set. Good sense of team spirit leadership, strong interpersonal & soft communication skills. Fluent in English (Verbal and Written).
