Our client is seeking a Prin. Pipeline Engineer to join their team of professionals. This position is based in Houston, TX In this role, you are expected to be experienced in all aspects of design, for both large and small diameter pipelines and related facilities, including experience in working with pipeline route selection, field survey, flow and pressure design, drafting/designers, right of way acquisition, permitting, preparation of specifications, preparation of construction contracts, permitting, including FERC permit requirements, bidding processes as well as management of construction projects. We value project experience with cross country pipelines, gathering systems, gas and liquid measurement, treating, separation, dehydration, pumps and compressors, gas and liquid storage, codes standards and testing requirements. Experience in pipeline pigging and integrity management, design of major and minor water body crossings, as well as road and railroad crossing and permitting is also desirable. PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and 10-12 years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration is strongly preferred with the ability and interest to also become registered in other states. Must have 10 + years of continuously progressive experience with the design and construction of pipelines and related facilities.
