Commercial Director -Central & Eastern Europe  Cell Analysis

We are currently representing a global biotechnology SME that develops and manufactures cell analysis capital equipment for their use in Academic, Drug Discovery and Industrial Research. The US based Life Science company is undergoing a period of rapid growth and is looking for a high quality professional to join the organization as the Commercial Director for Central and Eastern Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial team throughout the territory to ensure the effect representation of the product portfolio to customers.

Responsibilities Include:

*Develop a tactical sales plan in order to meet or exceed corporate objectives and sales goals throughout the territory.
*Manage and lead the regional sales team throughout Central & Eastern Europe in order to achieve the sales targets, as well as coaching and mentoring the network of distributors.
*Develop high-value, long-term profitable customer accounts through effective negotiation and relationship building sales techniques, with the aim to continuously develop customer relations.
*Maintain a high level of understanding of the product lines and evaluate and develop an in depth understanding of the market including products and services, prospects, forecasting and competition to effectively represent the product portfolio.
*Provide guidance and coaching to the sales organization and ensure implementation and alignment of regional sales goals with global objectives.

Requirements:

*>5 years sales experience within the Life Science Industry, preferably with knowledge of Cell Biology products and equipment.
*Must have at least 2 years prior experience of managing a sales team in Central Europe.
*Degree educated or equivalent within Life Sciences, preferably with an MSc/PhD.
*Experienced sales professional with excellent communication, planning, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
*Results oriented individual with proven experience of achieving sales targets.
*Must be a driven and enthusiastic sales professional.
